Juventus have appointed previous Azzurri manager Luciano Spalletti to take the helm until the end of the season.
The experienced coach steps in for his predecessor, who was sacked following the loss to Lazio on Sunday.
The former boss came on board in March filling the shoes of Thiago Motta but departed after seven months after an eight-game winless streak.
Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 then moving on to lead the Italian national team, who had failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup with Mancini at the helm.
He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.
Nonetheless, Italy dismissed Spalletti in June after a World Cup qualifying defeat by Norway, putting Italy in danger of missing a third straight World Cup.
Spalletti has also managed Inter Milan, Roma and Udinese in Serie A and secured two Russian Premier League titles with Zenit St Petersburg.
Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla during the 3-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.
Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, with one loss and two draws in their first three games.
